01
ECSP Authorization from ASF
Growceanu Angel Investment S.R.L. is authorized as a crowdfunding service provider (ECSP) by Romania's Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), under Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 — the single legal framework for crowdfunding investments across Europe.
What this means for you
You're not on an unverified platform - you're investing through a regulated entity, supervised by a state authority.
The authorization is valid in Romania, for the moment.
ASF can sanction, audit, and revoke the authorization for non-compliance. That's constant pressure toward doing things right.
02
Your money sits in an independently managed wallet, not with Growceanu
When you invest, your funds don't go into Growceanu's account — they go into an individual wallet, managed by ConnectPay UAB, an electronic money institution (EMI) licensed by the Bank of Lithuania under harmonized European regulations for electronic money institutions. ConnectPay is a legal entity completely separate from Growceanu.
What this means for you
Growceanu does not hold, touch, or move your money directly. Full stop.
Your funds sit in segregated accounts, protected by strict EU payment institution regulations, under the supervision of a national central bank.
Even if Growceanu disappeared tomorrow, your money stays protected in the wallet — it's not a Growceanu asset.
SEPA transfers are free. Bank transfer costs are absorbed by Growceanu, not by you.
03
Your interests are represented by an independent nominee
Management of shareholdings and representation of investors before funded companies happens through a Nominee - an entity fully independent from Growceanu.
What this means for you
No Growceanu shareholder, director, or employee holds any position or stake in the Nominee.
The Nominee acts solely in your interest - never in Growceanu's interest.
04
Zero structural conflicts of interest
Growceanu cannot and does not hold shares or equity in any project funded through the platform. Growceanu's shareholders, directors, and employees cannot act as project developers and cannot raise investment through the platform.
What this means for you
There's no scenario where Growceanu profits directly from a listed company's success beyond transparent fees.
A formal conflicts-of-interest policy exists, reviewed annually, with a dedicated Risk & Compliance Officer.
If an exception is ever made, it's disclosed publicly, on the same terms for all investors.
05
Active fraud protection
Payments are secured through ConnectPay, and Growceanu gives you clear guidance on the most common fraud tactics and how to protect yourself.
What this means for you
Two-factor authentication (2FA) available for your account.
A dedicated help center and email address to report suspicious activity, with fast response from the support team.
06
Full cost transparency
All fees are published, with no hidden costs: capped investment fee (maximum €100), performance fee charged only on a real exit event (sale, IPO, buyback, liquidation) - never on paper, never upfront.
What this means for you
You know exactly what you'll pay before you invest, not after.
No performance fee if you didn't realize an actual gain.
If a campaign doesn't reach its minimum funding threshold, the project developer pays no success fee, and your money is returned.
07
A formal right to complain
You have an official, structured channel to file a complaint - not just an email lost in a support inbox.
What this means for you
Standard complaint form available on the platform, directly linked to your investment.
Every complaint is documented, with a clear reference and the ability to attach supporting evidence.
You choose how to receive the response: by mail/courier or email.
